Elena hasn’t chosen, not really. This is actually where the REAL love triangle begins, as her vampire side craves Damon and his danger, and her human side craves Stefan and his stability. She’s going to be very conflicted next season, with heightened emotions, and it’s going to be filled with all kinds of UST.

So suddenly she has more information, will remember meeting him first, remember the kiss he gave her and telling her he loved her.
